History
The Dollhaus Beauty Co. was established in 2019.
After almost 20 years of working professionally in the cosmetics industry, Nikki Beavers opened The Dollhaus by herself in a tiny 80 square foot room in October 2019. At first, Nikki was wearing all the hats: performing all the services, running the social media, ordering supplies, doing the cleaning, and creating the schedule, all by herself! The demand for services with her quickly grew, and to accommodate them, she hired a team of waxers to help.
Who we are today
Just 5 years later in 2024, the business has grown to 2,000 square feet in its own location! We now boast 4 large wax suites, as well as an open concept Beauty Bar, and are working on continuing to build out more areas. The Dollhaus is a team of 8: 4 waxers, 2 receptionists, and Administrative Assistant, an Assistant Manager, and a Director! In addition to our core team, we also have a trained independent contractor makeup artist that works in studio and mobile for us. We are excited for the continued growth of our small business and can't wait to welcome you into our family!
Meet the owner and founder
Hi, I’m Nikki! I was born and raised in Orange County, CA. I am a CA State Board licensed esthetician, waxer and a professionally trained make-up artist.
Over the past two decades I have waxed clients, done makeup for hundreds of weddings and special events, and have taught many makeup and waxing classes. Although I’ve accomplished a lot on my own and my career as an individual has been really exciting, there is nothing more rewarding or inspiring than the role I’m in right now as Director of our company.
The Dollhaus crew and I work day in and day out to keep our standards of waxing, makeup and all shop operations high. Our goal is not only to leave everyone we meet feeling more confident, but to change the beauty industry as a whole by offering something that doesn’t exist yet — a shop of friendly, experienced professionals that love people, and love what they do. It’s our goal to make waxing FUN!
